Artist Ray says;
Every advertisement for perfume that I have watched confuses me.
It is usually involves strikingly beautiful woman. She has the look of absolute confusion – probably because she is being chased around my about forty-six cameras. The music is low pitched and moody. The narration sounds like its recorded by someone in a library, whispering and reading the poetry of someone who is inspired by floating plastic bags.
It is the definition of pretentiousness, but there are so many of them that it considered art!
I cry NOTIONS – Number 5… as I give myself another spray of the expensive scent gifted to me by my mother in law at Christmas. 😜😂

During the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns I found I had more time in the evenings to revisit my favourite Irish movies. As a designer I challenged myself to condense the subject matter into brief sketches. These were the most poignant, funny or clever aspects of the films that resonated with me."
