During a break from work in 2019, Fiona began crafting vintage tea cup candles as gifts for friends and family. Discovering that many candles on the market contained harmful substances, she was inspired to create a better alternative. Fiona's vision was to offer handcrafted soy wax candles, made with care in Ireland, using locally and ethically sourced natural ingredients. This vision became Milis. Right from the start, giving back has been a core value for Fiona.  5% of profits from Milis' wholesale operations are dedicated to supporting the Irish Cancer Society.
